Welcome to A Stitch in Time Quilt Shop
We are a full service creative sewing center and quilt shop, located in Franklin,
NC, nestled in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina. We
offer a full line of fine fabrics and supplies, including books, patterns and notions
for quilting and general sewing. Our fabric lines include Moda, Northcott, RJR,
Red Rooster, South Seas, Benartex, Westminster, Free Spirit and many others. You'll
find Amy Butler, Kaffe Fassett, batiks or 30's styles among plenty of "traditional"

quilting and sewing classes from beginner to intermediate, for adults as well as

In addition to quilting supplies, we also carry smocking and heirloom fabrics by
Spechler-Vogel, infant and children themed prints, silk satin ribbons, French cotton
laces and an array of smocking plates and patterns. We also carry punch needle embroidery
and felted wool. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is here to inspire and encourage
you with all your sewing needs!
