Please allow me to share a very special day at our shop!
Paul and Ann Johnson of Waynesville, NC visited my shop and surprised me with a cross stitched picture that Paul stitched especially for me to hang in our shop. It is beautifully framed in a handmade, authentic barnwood frame. I can't express my gratitude for such a loving gift of time and talent, but I think Paul and Ann know how I feel. You're all sure to enjoy the picture when you come into the shop. That's me, beaming, below in the photo with Paul.
Here's what's new at A Stitch in Time's Quilt Shop!
New Christmas Fabrics are arriving!
From Moda: We've just received our shipment of "Peace on Earth" in rich colors typical of "3 Sisters". This line blends beautifully with "Shangrila", an earlier fabric line by "3 Sisters" as well. We also received "Woodland Greetings" by Holly Taylor. We've got plenty of charm packs and jelly rolls to go with both lines.
New from Laurel Burch: "Bountiful Blessings" in metallics and bright colors.
Benartex and Nancy Halvorsen: "12 Days of Christmas". This line is soft and gentle in deep holiday colors.
More Christmas fabrics are on order so check in at the shop to see what's new. We are also planning a very special block of the month program to begin soon. This program has a Christmas theme, but the quilt can be used all year long!
Hot off the press: "Quilter's Travel Companion" 2008/2010 edition. This book lists quilt shops across the country, state by state. Each shop is represented with an ad describing the shop, complete with a map for driving directions. Keep it in the car at all times!

We've been busy making quilts and preparing kits for them so that you can just pick one up and get right down to the fun! We recently added three new kits to our array. We don't have them listed on our shopping cart page as of yet, but the samples are hanging in our shop. You may order by phone and we'll gladly ship your kit to you.
