Sergery 101-5 Woven Table Runner

Come join Kathleen and learn basic serger techniques. Using the Martha Pullen Curriculum, we will engage in a series of six classes. Each week, I will introduce new skills and then we will make a project using the new skills we learn in each session. Projects include a zipper pouch, serger caddy, zipper tote placemats and napkins, table runner, and Christmas Stocking. Each project features a different technique. It is strongly recommended you take all 6 classes. Each features a different technique as they do build on each other and some taught in an earlier class will be used in a later class. You will need to sign up for each class separately. If you take all 6 you will get a 20% discount on Sergery 101-6

Skill Details:
Instructor: Kathleen Brown
Instructor Bio: My name is Kathleen Brown. I spent 24 years in the United States Army retiring in 2001 as a Lieutenant Colonel at Fort Jackson, SC. When I retired, I taught a pre-engineering curriculum to Middle School Students in Lexington, SC. My husband and I recently moved to Franklin from Columbia, SC and have never been happier living in this Little Slice of Heaven. Once I retired, I started doing embroidery and went to a number of training classes and conferences. At a particular conference, I took a serger class from Lori Hernandez, a well known Bablylock Educator. I was hooked!!! Before this class, I didn?t know what a serger was nor did I know how much I needed one in my life. I left the conference with my very own Babylock Ovation and went to work learning my machine. Since then, I have earned three Martha Pullen teaching certifications and a taken number of other cases including Serger Bootcamp with Missy Billingsley. I am quite confident on Babylock Sergers and love to share my excitement about these amazing machines with anyone who will listen. Using the Martha Pullen Curriculum, we will engage in a series of six classes. Each week, I will introduce new skills and then we will make a project using the new skills we learn in each session.
