Beginner Paper Piecing Wreath

Paper Piecing is easy, addictive and fun.  This quilting technique is a great addition to your quilting knowledge.  Foundation paper piecing is a popular technique in making quilts but can seem incredibly intimidating if you haven’t tried it!  It’s done by sewing fabric to a printed paper foundation. This method is beloved by experienced piecers because it can be used to create extremely precise points and shapes. Paper piecing can be used for many designs, from simpler blocks like a square-in-a-square or elaborate patterns like a Mariner’s compass.

This pattern is quick and easy so beginners will be able to complete this project during our 2 day class.  You can make Placemats (14 ½ X 14 ½ ) or a Table Toppers ( 26 ¾ X 15 ¾ ) for your dining table in seasonal (Fall, Winter, Spring or Summer), or holiday colors (Christmas, 4^th of July, Thanksgiving, Easter, etc…)  If you plan on the Table topper you will need to add some extra fabric other than what is listed in the pattern.  The Table Topper additional information will be provided prior to class.

Class Policies:

• We ask that Class materials be purchased at A Stitch in Time. This helps us cover class expenses. We do ask however that you check with us prior to purchasing any supplies to ensure the class has made. 

• Pre-registration with payment is required. You may register in person, by phone, or through our website class calendar. Be sure to register early to help us ensure sufficient enrollment is met.

• We will determine 7 days before the class date if enrollment is sufficient for the class to be held or if the class will be cancelled.

• Cancellations: 

• If we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, weather, etc., class fees will be refunded. 

• If you cancel your class reservation 7 or more prior to class date, any refund will be in the form of a store credit.  There could be exceptions to this rule for special events with an out-ot-town teacher.

• If you cancel your class reservation 7 or fewer days from class date, you are not eligible for a refund or store credit.  Any exceptions to this will be on a case-by-case basis as determined by the owner.

• Please cancel if you are sick.

• Please refrain from wearing fragrances to class.

• Come to class expecting a day of fun and relaxation!
