Dottie Bag - Serger Project
The Dottie Bag is designed by Deb Canham to be made on any serger. The circular
bag is 14” in diameter and 5.5” deep. It has cording and a decorative handle. It is
embellished with creative chain stitching and a covered button. You will be
amazed at how beautifully this all goes together using the Sew Steady Extension
Table. Although you can make this bag without the Sew Steady table, this class
will focus on cutting the circular forms, attaching the cording and assembling the
bag using this amazing attachment.

Fabric A (Focus Fabric). 1 yard
Fabric B (Gusset strip) 1/3 yard
Fabric C (lining) 1 yard
Cording Fabric (scraps). 2” WOF
R Bosal double sided Fusible 17” x 58”
Cording 7 yards
#5 zipper 24”
Decorative thread for quilting (8 wt or 12 wt)
2 - 1 1/8” self cover buttons
Peltex Ultra Firm Stabilizer to make a reinforcing panel to be inserted into the bag
Class Policies:

We ask that Class materials be purchased at A Stitch in Time. This helps us cover class expenses. We do ask however that you check with us prior to purchasing any supplies to ensure the class has made.

Pre-registration with payment is required. You may register in person, by phone, or through our website class calendar. Be sure to register early to help us ensure sufficient enrollment is met.

Cancellations: If we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, weather, etc., class fees will be refunded. You may also receive a refund if you cancel your class up to 10-days prior to class.

Due to the teacher’s class planning and ordering of supplies, refunds will not be processed if you cancel less than 10-days before class.

Cancellations 4-9 days prior to class date: Any cancellations received 4-9 days from the date of the class will be refunded as a store credit. There could be exceptions to this rule for special events with an out-ot-town teacher.

Cancellation 3 or fewer days from class date are not eligible for a refund or store credit. Any exceptions to this will be on a case-by-case basis as determined by the owner.
