Running with Scissors

Take a Stand and Running with Scissors are companion patterns to make bags to hold, store, and carry a plethora of tools, from rotary cutters and scissors to markers, turning tools, small rulers, and more. A variety of easy-to-access pockets in vinyl, mesh, and quilted fabric can be customized to fit the tools you use and love. The small Take A Stand tote can carry larger items such as Iron, Fabrics, Thread, Bobbins, patterns, etc, and also makes a perfect stand for the Tool Case Running With Scissors. Just fold the Tool Case over so that the inner pockets are exposed. Place the Tool Case "billboard-style" over the upright tote. You'll love the stability and easy access to all your supplies.  For class, we will be making the smaller Take a Stand. The pattern does include instructions for a larger version. If you chose to make it on your own it would hold both of these bags, plus more or even a small sewing machine. 

Class Policies:

• We ask that Class materials be purchased at A Stitch in Time. This helps us cover class expenses. We do ask however that you check with us prior to purchasing any supplies to ensure the class has made. 

• Pre-registration with payment is required. You may register in person, by phone, or through our website class calendar. Be sure to register early to help us ensure sufficient enrollment is met.

• Cancellations: If we cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment, weather, etc., class fees will be refunded. You may also receive a refund if you cancel your class up to 10-days prior to class. 

• Due to the teacher’s class planning and ordering of supplies, refunds will not be processed if you cancel less than 10-days before class. 

• Cancellations 4-9 days prior to class date: Any cancellations received 4-9 days from the date of the class will be refunded as a store credit.  There could be exceptions to this rule for special events with an out-ot-town teacher.

• Cancellation 3 or fewer days from class date are not eligible for a refund or store credit.  Any exceptions to this will be on a case-by-case basis as determined by the owner.

• Please cancel if you are sick.

• Please refrain from wearing fragrances to class.

• Come to class expecting a day of fun and relaxation!
